The Naif Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud International Prize for Sunna and Contemporary Islamic Studies 2009 aims at encouraging scientific research in the fields of Sunna and Contemporary Islamic Studies among researchers around the world, and reinforcing the spirit of scientific competition. The prize also aims to develop the study of current affairs of the Islamic world and find solutions for its problems, and promote original scientific research in the Islamic world. The total sum of the prizes will exceed SR 2,000,000.
